About Carvasoul:
Liz, known as Carvasoul, is a fine artist based out of Portland Oregon (USA). Her nature-themed colorful work is designed to look as though it is a window that you can step through, exploring not only that world but your own deeper feelings of melancholy, creativity, purpose, and whatever else is weighing on your mind. Her dream-like work is inspired heavily by artists like James Jean, Loish, Pip and Pop, and many others. She loves bright colors and loves experimenting with them to see what complex emotions can be conveyed in the gentle subtext of scattered leaves. Her style is defined by bold shapes carved from what is usually delicate forms. In recent years, she has become a twitch streamer, sharing her art process with people from around the globe and creating much of her work live in real time.
Inspired by the lush plant-life of the Pacific Northwest!
Carvasoul’s paintings are colorful exaggerations of real plants found while hiking local trails. While the real deal plants are not always pink or turquoise, they are never invented, making guessing the plant a favorite pastime of locals of the area.
